LAB TEST COMPARISION OF CYCLING RESISTANCE
In order to provide a high level of energy to the engine and all the devices at the same time, truck batteries have to be reliable at any time, everywhere.
To ensure a complete and flawless service, truck batteries are made with labyrinth lid and highly shock and vibration resistant structure.
For specific applications such as agriculture or construction, heavy duty vehicles also require a reinforced ressitance to vibration and shocks. The EFB construction provides an extremely high level of protection against these risks as well as an increased cycling resistance and ensure one of the longest lifetime for heavy duty batteries.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The system prevents acid stratification. It uses the natural movement of the vehicle to keep the acid inside the battery in constant circulation. The acid density stays at homogenous levels, which enhances charge acceptance and extends the overall battery life. It counteracts acid stratification and improves battery cycle life
The hot melt resin renders the battery even more vibration resistant, because it saves the connectors from breaking. Vibration resistance is even more enhanced, meeting EN50342-1/V3 and “end of frame installation”.
Scrim is an additional polyester element on top of PAM, which holds the active mass in place and prevents its erosion. Unlike regular pasting paper, it remains on the plate after charging and operation due to its acid resistance ability. The result is enhanced deep cycle use and superior charge acceptance.
The glued fleece helps that the plates keep their proper position at all times and in every condition
